The objective of the project is to seismically retrofit the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant (HTWTP) East Chemical Storage Structure. Scope of work includes welding, installation of anchor bolts, removal and reinstallation of canopy deck/ceiling panels, installation of blocking, removal and installation of bird netting, and paint touch-up. The work is to be performed in San Mateo County, California.
Only Contract Monitoring Division ("CMD") Certified San Francisco (“SF”) Micro LBEs/NPEs and/or PUC Micro-LBEs are eligible to bid on this contract in accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. Contract will be awarded only to S.F. Micro-LBEs/NPEs and/or PUC Micro-LBE. Certified SF Micro LBEs/NPEs and/or PUC Micro-LBEs Prime bidders must perform at least 25% of the entire contract value. Bid discounts and LBE subcontracting participation requirement are not applicable to this contract. An in-person site inspection will be held at the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant, 2901 Crystal Springs Rd, San Bruno, CA 94066, at 1:00 P.M. on 8/22/2024.
An additional in-person site inspection will be held at the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant, 2901 Crystal Springs Rd, San Bruno, CA 94066, at 1:00 P.M. on 9/19/2024.
SFPUC encourages Bidders to complete the Safety Prequalification Web Form at https://sfpuc.gov/construction-contracts/contract-opportunities-payments/prequalify-construction at least three (3) weeks prior to the date of Bid opening in accordance with Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders that have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. Refer to Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders, “Bidder Qualifications” and the website listed above for additional information.
A Class “A, B, C-51, or C-60” California Contractor License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.
