In addition, subcontractors are pointed to the City’s Surety Bond Program, which assists LBE contractors in obtaining bonding and financing for contracts awarded by the SFPUC. For further information regarding enrollment eligibility and program services contact Jennifer Elmore at (415) 217-6578. Subcontractors may be required to obtain and maintain a City and County of San Francisco Business Tax Registration Number GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premium up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required.
