The objective of the project is to address temporary flooding during significant storm events within the Visitation Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. The project includes the installation of approximately four thousand feet of 8-foot to 11-foot interior diameter concrete sewer tunnel from Harney Way westerly past Bayshore Blvd. The tunnel will be excavated by an Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) Tunnel boring Machine (TBM), micro-tunneling, pipe-jacking and jet-grouting. Associated work includes three tunnel portals and the highway US101/Caltrain crossings. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, CA
